Cartier, founded in 1847 by Louis-François in Paris when he inherited his masters workshop. In 1874, his son Alfred Cartier took over, but it was Alfred’s sons, who really established Cartier as a worldwide brand.
Cartier, once also known as the ‘Jeweler of King and the King of Jewelers’ providing only the best fine jewelry to royal families across Europe. In 1904, Cartier designed the Santos, named after Brazilian aviator, Alberto Santos-Dumont, it was Cartier’s first men’s wristwatch and inspired today’s Tank collection. Some popular models are Cartier Must 21, Vermeil and Rivoli.
