Our Take

A fairly modern watch by vintage standards, just under 20 years old, the Maurice Lacroix Miros is not one to be missed. Set in a stainless steel case measuring around 20mm in diameter and 30mm from lug to lug, there are two gold plated panels above and below the face. The dial is clean and elegant with Roman numerals and black sword-shaped hands covered by a sapphire crystal which is spotless. The original crown sports the Maurice Lacroix logo and is in good condition. The back case has the hallmark and model/serial numbers 59744 #3567, there are a few light scratches there. The ML quartz movement is clean and running as it should, keeping perfect time. The bi-metal strap will fit a wrist of approximately 6.1” or 15.5cm and has a butterfly clasp, slight gold plate wear is evident in some places, but doesn’t detract from the watch at all. A lovely ladies watch with all original parts, only the original box is missing. Please don’t use this near water as we cannot guarantee water resistance.

About Maurice Lacroix

Although the company that first created Maurice Lacroix was formed in 1889, and did have significant links to the watch trade, Maurice Lacroix only formed in 1975. Unusually, the manufacturer had the capability to produce their own cases, but didn’t produce their own first in-house movement until 2006.

Not a traditional, centuries-old maker, but well respected and the vintage lines are collectible thanks to the elegant style that they bring to any outfit. Think sophisticated rather than utility.
