Our Take

Omega is one of those brands that everyone knows and loves, it’s been featured in many films and is even the official timekeeper of the Olympic games. This very attractive classic Omega dates back to 1961, it’s a good size, suitable for today’s man, measuring 35mm in diameter and 40mm from lug to lug. The gold plated case retains excellent definition with its sharply chamfered bezel and faceted edges towards the lugs, unfortunately, its got multiple chips around the bezel and lug area. The steel back pops in and is in good condition. The silver dial is in great condition, with its combination of faceted markers and Arabic numerals, all under a replacement acrylic crystal. The crown is signed with the logo. The watch is powered by a manual calibre 285 movement with 17 jewels and keeps good time. The serial number is 14726-1. The bracelet has been replaced with a Darlena leather bracelet and will fit a wrist of about 7.5” or 19cm approximately. The watch comes without the original box but will be accompanied by a gift box. Water resistance is not guaranteed so please do not use it near water.
