Our Take
Established as late as 1976, Raymond Weil was entering the Swiss watch market at an innovative time and could only survive by being on top of their game and making a name for themselves, which they clearly did. The Geneve 9145 was an early model produced in the late 1980s. The 10 microns gold plated case measures around 32mm in diameter and 34mm from lug to lug, it does show some discolouration and fading in areas. The exquisite gold dial with diamante, gold hands, and quickset date at the 6 o’ clock position protected under a brand new mineral crystal, do note some diamante have been replaced. The precise RW quartz movement runs strong and keeps time perfectly. The gold crown shows wear and may have been replaced at some point as it is unsigned. The back case is severely scratched but at least this is covered by your arm! Model number #9145. The original bracelet has been replaced with a new genuine leather bracelet and will fit a wrist of 7.5” or 19cm approximately. The original box and papers are long gone, but it will be accompanied by a gift box. Water resistance is not guaranteed as this watch is not sealed.
