Tissot goes a long way back, all the way to 1853, and the amount of awards they have won over the years is endless, this fact makes it surprising that a Swiss brand can still be so affordable, but it is! This Tissot PR 50 dates back to the mid-’90s with its stainless-steel case measuring around 35mm in diameter and 40mm from lug to lug, originally designed for men but may suit a lady with today’s fashionably large sizing. The bezel is a combination of steel and gold plating and is in good condition. It has a precise Tissot quartz movement, which works as it should and keeps good time. The plain beige dial has gold stick markers as well as hands, and the date located at the 3 o’clock position, all encased under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. A stainless steel case back, stamped with the logo and model number J176/276K completes the watch off nicely. The original stainless steel strap with foldaway clasp will fit a wrist up to 7.5” or 19cm approximately, the strap was plated but this has faded away almost completely. The watch comes without the original box or papers but will have a gift box to accompany it. It has not been pressure sealed, so please do not use it near water.
