Our Take
Established as late as 1976, Raymond Weil was entering the Swiss watch market at an innovative time and could only survive by being on top of their game and making a name for themselves, which they clearly did. The Geneve 5807 was an early model produced in the early 1990s. The 18kt electro gold plated case measures around 26mm in diameter and 28mm from lug to lug, and is in excellent condition, this is a petite watch so make sure it’s suitable. The exquisite plain gold dial with diamante, gold hands, and logo under the noon position are all protected by its mineral crystal. The precise RW quartz movement runs strong and keeps time perfectly. The gold crown is unsigned and in good condition. The back case has the logo and model number #5807. The original gold strap with butterfly clasp is in good condition and will fit a wrist of 6” or 15cm approximately. The original box and papers are long gone, but it will be accompanied by a gift box. Water-resistance is not guaranteed as this watch is not sealed.
