Our Take
Just over 100 years ago in Lengnau, Switzerland, the three Rado brothers came together in part of their parents’ home with the idea that “If we can imagine it, we can make it” and that stands true with their brand still today! This 1980s Voyager is a classic, it’s midsize and originally designed for men but today would suit a lady as well, measuring only 32mm in diameter and 34mm from lug to lug. The stainless steel case retains excellent definition with its uniquely shaped bezel and is in good condition. The steel back pops in and is in good condition, it bears the logo and serial number #28631050 model number #636.3495.4, only minor scuffs present. The champagne dial is aged and shows it with diamante at markers at 12, 6, and 9 and a date/day window at the 3 o’clock position. It has gold baton-shaped hands with elegant sweep seconds all kept under a mineral crystal. The crown is signed with the logo. The watch is powered by an automatic movement with 17 jewels and keeps good time. The original stainless steel strap is in a classic 80s style and will fit a wrist of about 7.5” or 19cm approximately. The watch comes without the original box but will be accompanied by a gift box. Water-resistance is not guaranteed so please do not use it near water.
