Rado is a brand that not everyone may know, but for those that do, they love it! Their innovation in design and materials used to come up with some of the worlds most unique watches was unprecedented for the time. This Voyager is a classic, it’s midsize and originally designed for men but today would suit a lady as well, measuring only 31mm in diameter and 35mm from lug to lug. This quintessential 1980s model features an unmistakable tonneau-case design from the era in steel with a two-piece bezel with a fluted design. The steel back pops in and is in good condition, it bears the logo model number #636.4015.2G and serial 34561256, please note the wear at the lugs. The gold dial is in good condition with diamante at the 12, 6 and 9 o’clock positions. It has gold sword-shaped hands with elegant sweep seconds and a date/day window at the 3 o’clock position in English/Spanish. The anchor in the centre moves as it should and is all kept under a mineral crystal in really good condition. The crown is signed with the logo. The watch is powered by an automatic movement with 17 jewels and keeps good time. The strap has been replaced with a black leather bracelet and will fit a wrist of about 7.5” or 19cm approximately. The watch comes without the original box but will be accompanied by a gift box. Water-resistance is not guaranteed so please do not use it near water.
