Our Take

“Innovators by tradition” has been the phrase behind Tissot since the founding of the company in 1853! This classy ladies Tissot dates back to the late nineties with its stainless-steel round-shaped case with protruding lugs both top and bottom of the bezel. It has a precise Tissot quartz movement, which works as it should and keeps perfect time. The white mother of pearl dial is clean and has a minimalist approach with only markers on the left and right-hand sides with silver hands, all encased under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The crown is steel and signed with the logo. A stainless case back, stamped Tissot 1853 #G330K s/n QKS-JA-10694 pops in and shows some wear, it measures around 23mm in diameter and 28mm from lug to lug, it’s rather petite. The stainless steel strap is original with a plain clasp and will fit a wrist of up to 6.7′ or 17cm approximately. The watch comes without the original box and papers but will have a gift box to accompany it. It has not been pressure sealed, so please do not use it near water.

About Tissot

“Innovators by tradition” has been the phrase behind Tissot since the founding of the company in 1853. As proof of that, they’ve been responsible for: first mass-produced pocket watch, first pocket watch with dual time zones, first to make watches from plastic (Idea 2001), rock (RockWatch), mother of pearl (the Pearl watch) and wood.

Also introduced the ‘T-Touch’ technology in 1999, which have touch-sensitive sapphire crystals to control functions.

They now work with a number of organising sporting bodies to develop ever-more accurate timing solutions, whether that’s cycling, motorcycling, fencing or hockey. Notable wearers include Grace Kelly,
James Stewart and Nelson Mandela.
