Our Take
When Tag Heuer was formed in 1985, a lot of the Heuer range simply continued as Tag Heuer models, the 2000 series being one of those, with very little changes since the original design, it went all the way from 1982 until 2005. And why you ask? Well, its sturdy design and reliability, the timekeeping is also perfect as you would expect from Tag Heuer. Encased in thick stainless steel and enticing us with its rotating gold plated bezel and the well known ‘Click’! Case measures 28mm in diameter and 30mm from lug to lug, a smaller ladies watch. The dial is gold and clean with the logo in the centre, there are the usual luminous markers, quick set date at 3 o’clock and Mercedes’ hands, all under the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The gold crown screws in/lock and features the logo, case back also has the logo and screws in. Model/serial numbers are WK1321 #F59060. It features the original bi-metal steel/gold strap with double lock clasp, s/n BA0316 and measures approximately 6.5” or 16.5cm. The watch comes without the original box and papers, but a gift box will accompany it. It has not been pressure sealed, so water resistance is not guaranteed.
